Fundraising is going S-L-O-W....

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There!Are you as happy as can be?? =D!

WOW! Where has the time gone?! I can't believe that the July 4th Holiday is past us already! My Niece and Nephew have both grad-u-ma-cated from High School, and my mom has already come back from Kilt Camp! (And let me tell you - MY KILT ROCKS!! GO MOM!! (my mom is the BEST!!)!!) Back to the subject at hand though...

FUNDRAISING for this more then WORHTY cause!! (Well the best laid plans always seem to get thawarted, and, typically, mine sure have!) But, wait, my friends! There is still plenty of time to help me get to my goal (and beyond??) There is a lot of room on the scroll on my 3-Day web page! http://08.the3day.org/goto/pinksammiepenguin. You know you want to see your name on it. You can BRAG to your friends & family and then they will want to have their name on there too!

Here are some of the fundraisers I hope to accomplish before the walk. Some are in the works and some are on going. All The PROFITS will be Donated to Susan G. Komen through this site!!

1. I have pins (tie-tac type) for sale **CHEAP**. They are all made in the USA and come on plastic. I will try to get pictures taken & posted on this blog ASAP. They are $2.00 each. I also have ribbon/shoe lace charms. And regular charms that I can put onto cell phone dangles. You will get a better idea when you see the photos.

2. I will be setting up a web site for you to get bag tags at: http://www.tagmybags.com/ . I was sent samples of these tags and they are really sturdy. They have great designs to choose from and will also work with you to custom design your own tag. I will get 40% of the sales, but you have to use my organization code: 9137. GO! GO! GO!

3. We, The Pink Penguins, will be having a Lawn Sale at my House (48 Elmwood Road, Verona, NJ) August 22-24, 2008. If you would like to Donate to this Event it would be Greatly Appreciated! Then please come by and see what we have that you might like!!

4. I would like to get some containers to put in stores in the area for people to put change in.

5. I would REALLY LOVE to have a Play-a-Thon (maybe in September). Hasbro has kits that can be purchased for different age groups: http://www.hasbro.com/playathon/default.cfm?page=kits they include support in the form of a cd with forms and ideas to help. It seems like a fun idea. The Kits are really EXPENSIVE though, so some SERIOUS FUNDRAISING for those needs to be done!!

(Hey, if you have any great ideas that might help me reach my goal, PLEASE, I would love to hear them!!)
